As
owner of Bliss Communications, Mimi works with high-profile
organizations and professionals for whom an outstanding public image is
essential for success. An experienced TV reporter and corporate
spokesperson, she helps clients maximize positive exposure in the news
media, enhance their presentation and networking skills, and manage
their reputations in a crisis. Since she founded Bliss Communications
in 1997, Business Nashville magazine has twice named Mimi to "40 Under
40"-Nashville's forty most influential professionals under age
forty-and the Tennessean newspaper named her to its "40 Under 40" list
for community service.
Mimi's past experience includes working for more than ten years as an on-camera reporter for
ABC-TV and NBC-TV affiliates in Tennessee and North Carolina. Mimi
has also worked as a freelance field producer for the Today Show and NBC
Nightly News.
Prior to founding Bliss Communications, Mimi was
director of corporate communications for Shoney's, Inc., where she served as
company spokesperson in crisis situations for the $1 billion
publicly-owned restaurant company. In another previous position, Mimi managed media relations for Saint Thomas Hospital.
As a volunteer, Mimi serves on the board of directors of Children's House, a Montessori pre-school and kindergarten in Nashville. She is a graduate of Leadership Nashville; past board president of Oasis Center; and past board member of Belmont-Hillsboro Neighbors, CABLE, Girl Scout Council of Cumberland Valley, PENCIL Foundation and Tennessee Society of Association Executives.

earned a degree in public policy from Duke University.
